We all have our own set of biases toward others. Our brains are just wired that way. Categorizing people can be automatic and even helpful, but it can also have sinister side effects. However, through deeper understanding and open hearts, we can overcome these hidden forces that divide us.
Trinity welcomes you to a free community event where we explore the unseen dynamics behind conflict and division. Join us for a conversation led by Dr. Christena Cleveland, a social psychologist, public theologian, author, and professor at the Divinity School at Duke University.
This event is completely free and open to the public. Attendees will receive a complementary copy of Dr. Cleveland¹s book, Disunity in Christ: Uncovering the Hidden Forces That Keep Us Apart. We are proud to partner with St. Stephen's Episcopal School to offer this special community event.
